Boise 70.3 is upon us after a 10 year heiitus. I wanted to race here to experience a new course and a new town (to me, anyway). The swim will be lovely at 67 degrees and hopefully no wind. The bike course will be challenging but fun, BUT that run's gonna be hot, darn hot..will see how I hold it together (if at all). I have sent pre SOS messages to loved ones asking they come rescue me if they hear of an athlete on the side of the run course that has been reduced to a pile of melted skin and bone ( the giveaway will be my @humango_ai run hat, probably the only recognizable token of the day remaining)
Seriously though, I am looking forward to racing. You never know what the lessons of the day will be. Im open to it all.. I just hope I don't encounter Tessie or any of the other "wild" animals I've spotted up here on my travels. Boise rocks!! Thanks, Phil, of
@m5_triathlon for helping get me this far. @speedoausnz @sailfish_triathlon @scodyaus

I'm jumping for the 3td time tomorrow and am excited to see how it goes. Based on the T100 conditions today, we are all in for a fun day out on one of THE most iconic triathlon courses in the world. The call from across the globe was evident today listening to all the accents in the expo area. A truly inspirational gathering of people who live #multisportsport lifestyle. How lucky are we all!! To everyone racing tomorrow; own YOUR day, celebrate being here! A special shout out to @kriskakriska, @humango_ai ambassador, who will be racing tomorrow, all my fellow @eastbaytriclub athletes and @thenickster @nduruscoach athlete escaping for the first time. @escapealcatraztri , let's GO!!

@eastbaytriclub One of many fulfilling moments coaching the East Bay Tri Club this past weekend. New members joining with some even swimming open water and clipping in for the first time. Making new friends and welcoming athletes into the 2025 season was a blast! My heart is full. Thank you to all the EBTC Board who make these events possible, and to the many welcoming experienced members who continue to share their passion and enthusiasm for the sport AND to the many enthusiasts who keep turning up to challenge themselves and discover what is possible. 2025 is on!!! @grupponutrition @rudyproject @themagic5 @teamzealios @betsy.abel @pfits @outfront_endurance @sailfish_triathlon @humango_ai @nduruscoach

Last weekend, I entered my first skate ski race in over 15 years. I didn't do it because I knew I would do well. I deliberately entered a tough race to see where I would fail. Out of sheer fascination, I jumped in and threw my best at the course, and I loved every minute of the 56 , traveling 14 km on a tour of the mountains. Reminding me, it is not the guarantee of winning. Rather, it's the potential to fail that allows space to grow. What is your next event that will put you out of your comfort zone? @humango_ai @raeleighharris @m5_triathlon

They say it's not the things in life that matter. It's the people you spend it with. This can not be denied. Venturing to New Zealand for the 70.3 world's would have been meaningless without the people. The family who traveled with me. The @humango_ai ambassadors and athletes I met on the streets, the 3000 people of Taupo who volunteer to make race day happen, the new friends I made. None of it would be the same without you! Thank you for making magnificent memories with me.
